WelCome! The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), an apex professional society, was founded in year 1953 for promoting the general advancement of Telecommunication, Electronics and IT and to facilitate exchange of information and ideas in the fields which have been revolutionized economies of the nations worldwide. About IETE Amravati Centre :
The IETE Amravati sub-centreWelCome, established in 2003 was upgraded to centre in 2007. The centre has more than 525 corporate members including 71 fellow grade members. the centre conducts regular technical events as a part of continuing education programs for the members and students and these are always well attended. IETE Amravati Centre has successfully conducted "46th IETE Mid Term Symposium (MTS)" in April 2015. Under Amravati Centre, Yavatmal Sub-centre has successfully conducted IETE West Zone Seminar in March 2018. In Addition, the centre regularaly organizes one and two day seminars and zonal seminars on specialized technical topics. In addition to conducting regular coaching classes for AMIETE and DIPIETE, the Centre has been conducting these examinations as directed by Head Quarter. The Centre has its own building having classrooms, updated laboratories and library. There are 9 ISF institutes, 6 Organizational members and one sub-centre at Yavatmal under Amravati Centre. Till date, 6 indivisual awards and 2 Best IETE Centre Award (2013 & 2016) has been bagged by the centre.

Celebrated the IETE Student's Day on 1st Feb. 2018 & World Telecommunication Day on 17th May 2018.
Established the New IETE STUDENTS FORUM (ISF)........
